We are proud to announce that we’re now partners of the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a UN initiative designed to promote gender equality and empower women in the workplace, marketplace, and community.

With only 26% of national technology roles reported to be filled by women, we are committed to driving change and increasing our diversity statistics. Therefore, this new partnership is a positive stepping stone towards a more equitable future.

Our mission is to increase the representation of women in our workforce by 10% by 2025. Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen promising results, including a 16% growth in applications from women and an 8% rise in job offers for women in technology professions!

This has been driven by three key initiatives:

  • Monitoring diversity within our workforce and recruitment processes to identify and remove gender barriers.
  • Taking advice from organisations such as Working Families UK and WomenInTech UK to build inclusive processes.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop flexible working solutions that embrace non-standard patterns, making the tech sector more accessible to working parents.

While our current workforce is predominantly male, these positive actions reflect the progress we are making toward a balanced and inclusive workplace. Together, with the guidance of the WEPs, we are committed to shaping a future where women can thrive and lead in the technology industry.

The WEPs platform offers the private sector a global network of like-minded companies and guidance on advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment. Your organisation can be part of the change too, by signing up via their website
