SC Cleared Product Manager – Glasgow/London – 6 months + Ext

Atlassian, User Research, Agile/Lean, Feature & Product Definition

 

An opportunity has for an SC Cleared Product Manager on an initial 6 month contract (likely to extend for a further year). The Product Manager will collaborate with users and designers to identify needs, create vision/strategy, and build roadmaps for complex products as well as gather evidence and make the business case to get products approved.

 

Other duties will involve prioritizing and actively managing product backlogs through agile methodology and defining and analysing metrics to present insights, scope requirements and provide consultancy.

 

In addition, you will create documentation and training to support products, contribute to portfolio management and developing lean and DevOps practices.

 

Ideally the Product Manager will be based out Glasgow however there is scope for this to be based from London, it is anticipated that the PM will be onsite at least one day per week but this is open to discussion.

 

Key Skills:

 

• Working with User Researchers or carrying out your own user research to identify user needs and journeys.
• Using agile or lean ways of working to manage technical products or services to a user base with diverse needs.
• Implementing and using agile or lean tools for managing product epics, user stories, tasks and bugs, e.g. Jira, Confluence.
• Being able to define and realise complex features or products within a defined period.
• Atlassian product knowledge
