Data Scientist

 

SC/NPPV3 Cleared  - 3 months + - Hybrid-working

 

Lucid are currently working with a central government client who are looking to develop a Data Strategy, which will allow them to understand their data needs for the next 5 years, and work closely with Science Technology, Analysis and Research colleagues and key partners to ensure that they have the technical and analytical capabilities to meet their data needs. It will allow them to overcome age-old obstacles like siloed and poor-quality data, inefficient data management practices and unlock the full potential of data.

 

In addition to this work, they are piloting a programme to increase the group’s access to data and capability to conduct research to support and evaluate policy.

 

The Lab requires a Data Scientist to develop its Data Science standards and policies, research and engagement strategy as well as to support in the development of analytical use cases. This outputs and outcomes of the lab will also support the development of the Data Strategy.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

• Data Science and Research Engagement Strategy
• Data matching standards
• Data Confidence Assessment Standards
• Data User Guide Standards
• Data Code Standards
• Data Anonymisation Standards
• Use Case Development and creation of a detailed register of use case opportunities.
• Data Science Capability gap register
• List of Analytics toolsets, techniques and methods
• Data Processing and Analysis policy
