JOB DESCRIPTION:
Service Desk Analyst – Derby – 9-month contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Desk Analyst Derby on an initial 9 month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and support of various vendor applications as well as bespoke software.
Job Duties:
- 1st and 2nd line technical support over the phone, via email and with remote log on
- Monitoring systems within a Network Operation Centre (NOC), so will suit an analytically minded individual to monitor and analyse bespoke data
- Supporting users with technical issues including: Software, Hardware and basic Network issues User support for: Windows 7/10, Office 2010/Office 365
- Basic Networking and Remote working (VPN) and basic support for VoIP
- Server monitoring and Server Alerts monitoring, ensuring prompt action is taken to troubleshoot/ escalate issues.
- Experience working with/ supporting SQL
- Active Directory and Exchange experience ideal
