JOB DESCRIPTION:

Deskside Engineer – Cheltenham – 1 Month Rolling – Inside IR35

 

Lucid Support Services is seeking a talented Deskside Engineer for a 1 month rolling contract in Cheltenham. This will be for an IT Services customer; we are looking for someone with strong technical abilities and 3+ years of experience to provide exceptional service to our clients.

 

The Deskside Engineer will:

  • Provide desktop and deskside support for end users, diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software issues 
  • Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity, account, and access issues related to Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, and SharePoint
  • Build strong client relationships and ensure excellent customer service
  • Follow and document standard procedures accurately

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years experience providing deskside support in a corporate IT environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Office 365, Azure AD/Entra ID, Intune, Windows 10/11, and mobility tools
  • Understanding of networking, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange, and SharePoint administration
  • Superior communication skills and aptitude for delivering great client service
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and meet deadlines
