JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical Support Engineer – Central London – 12 Months – Inside IR35

Role Overview

Lucid are proud to be working with an established IT Service organisation on a new IT Engineering role in Central London. This role will be to provide end-user support in the global technology environment of a leading financial company, including desktop support, network administration, and telephony. Offer incident solutions promptly or escalate to the appropriate IT team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support for software, hardware, and critical incidents
  • Manage technology incidents, prioritizing mission-critical cases 
  • Escalate issues to relevant IT teams when necessary
  • Support computer hardware/software and provide vendor escalation for end-users

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of enterprise desktop support experience with software and hardware issues
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • ServiceNow ticketing system experience
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, Macs, tablets, mobile phones, printers
  • Knowledge of Cisco telephony, VoIP, BES, and networking practices
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, O365, VPN, Active Directory, Exchange
  • Experience with systems like SEE, SEP, Agresso, Bomgar

Desired Skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry
  • Understanding of travel/hospitality technology landscape
