Technical Support Engineer – Central London – 12 Months – Inside IR35
Role Overview
Lucid are proud to be working with an established IT Service organisation on a new IT Engineering role in Central London. This role will be to provide end-user support in the global technology environment of a leading financial company, including desktop support, network administration, and telephony. Offer incident solutions promptly or escalate to the appropriate IT team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support for software, hardware, and critical incidents
- Manage technology incidents, prioritizing mission-critical cases
- Escalate issues to relevant IT teams when necessary
- Support computer hardware/software and provide vendor escalation for end-users
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of enterprise desktop support experience with software and hardware issues
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ideally a bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
- ServiceNow ticketing system experience
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PCs, laptops, Macs, tablets, mobile phones, printers
- Knowledge of Cisco telephony, VoIP, BES, and networking practices
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, O365, VPN, Active Directory, Exchange
- Experience with systems like SEE, SEP, Agresso, Bomgar
Desired Skills
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Understanding of travel/hospitality technology landscape
