Human Factors Specialist (SC/DV Cleared)

  • 3 months +
  • Inside IR35
  • Based in Wiltshire / Gloucestershire

 

Pre-requisites

  • Due to the nature of the programme, the successful applicant will need to hold a live SC/DV Clearance and be a sole UK National.
  • Attendance at any meeting in any location as directed by the Project lead or the Service Lead including abroad, if required.

 

Our client are looking for a Human Factors Specialist to join an exciting Cyber programme for a central government department. The main responsibilities will be around Human Factors (HF), Social Behavioral and risk identification related to Cyber Vulnerability Investigations:

 

  • Information gathering during the backlog refinement phase. This includes attendance at information gathering meetings, where necessary, and provision of domain specific context to the CVI team in support of delivering the Contract.
  • Validate understanding of Target of Interest (TOI) user processes and missions, including established fallback processes.
  • Collect documented user processes for training, operation and maintenance of ToI in line with the 2-week Agile ‘sprint’ process.
  • Work with the wider team to build and validate the ToI mission model and related user processes.
  • Lead data gathering in support of HF behavioural, cultural and organisational elements.
  • Gather (& document) data and insights relating to HF and socio behavioural, assurance etc., from the user perspective.
  • Provide the HF data to the Delivery Lead and Service Lead for storage and cataloguing within the structured data repository for the CVI.
  • Attend data collection meetings when pre-agreed with the Delivery Lead.
  • Assist and lead in drafting reports.
  • Advice on completeness and coherence of data collected.
  • Draft HF and Socio Behavioral specific inputs to the project outputs.
  • Advice to the CVI team on the completeness, robustness and consistency of the HF and socio behavioral information gathered.
  • Assistance in engagement with the end user and all stakeholders throughout the CVI/TOI.
  • HF and socio behavioral expertise in the development of the risk and vulnerabilities impact report and the preliminary model of systems, including:
  • Review of the model views developed.
  • Input into Mission Impact Analysis.
  • HF and socio behavioral expertise and assistance in developing supporting materials for all formal workshops.
  • Undertake preliminary HF and socio behavioural aspects of Mission Impact Assessment of Cyber Effects of Concern within the ToI, working closely with the Scrum Master and Cyber Service Lead.
  • Undertake Detailed HF and socio behavioral Mission Impact Assessment of Cyber Effects of Concern within the ToI, working closely with the Scrum Master and Cyber Service Lead.
  • Working from an understanding of the operational environment for the ToI, develop a HF and socio behavioural Threat Statement for the ToI.
