Geo Data Specialist for C4ISR Application Migration

 

Do you have a passion for geospatial data and a knack for configuration?

We are looking for a specialist Geo Data Manager to join our team and support the migration of critical applications to a new cloud-based environment (VIX).

 

6-month contract with a potential 3-month extension, DV Clearance ideally required

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure geographical information services for C4ISR applications.
• Provide technical geospatial support during the migration process.
• Collaborate with the team on various working groups and meetings.
• Assist in user requirement capture and capability reporting.
• Manage the Geo capability on hosting infrastructures.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to Geo capabilities.
• Maintain a document repository for Geo information.
• Develop standard operating procedures for routine Geo tasks.
• Track emerging technologies and best practices for Geo capabilities.
• Assist with application service transition activities.

 

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of geographical data sets and configuration.
• Experience working with industry standard geospatial formats.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
