Onsite IT Support Engineer – South Mimms/London – Temp to Perm

Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer, this will be onsite in South Mimms with occasional travel to Canary Wharf, London. This will be on a 3-month initial engagement, with a view to go permanent.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Building devices using SCCM, Intune and similar
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
• Talk clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults replace parts as require
• Provide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
• Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system
• Support the roll-out of new applications
• Set up new users’ accounts and profiles and deal with password issues
• Respond within agreed time limits to calls
• Work continuously on a task until completion (or refer to third parties or senior team if appropriate)
