Lead Security Architect (SC+NPPV3 Cleared)

Remote-working with potential site visit to Croydon / Manchester (once or twice a month)

£500.00pd (Inside IR35)

We are currently recruiting for a Security Architect to work on an exciting programme for a central government customer.

Our client provide over 20 national applications which range in size and complexity. As part of the ongoing maintenance of these applications annual security activities are required to ensure the integrity of each application is maintained. The key tasks to be delivered are:

• Maintaining Information Risk Assessment Report (IRAR) including updates to existing documents and or creating new documents currently not in place. – priority at this time.
• Support the review findings on IT Health Checks - remediation activities.
• Support drafting / updating of individual system Data Protection Impact Assessment as required.
• Review current system security monitoring controls in place for each system and support the authority with implementing / moving to tactical and or strategic solutions as required.
• Support security working groups as required.
• Generation of Risk papers as required to handle ad-hoc security approvals from the Policing Information Asset Owner (IOA).
• Support drafting/ updating/ advising of Security Aspect Letters.
• Advise on outputs from vulnerability reporting/ security alerts for system patching.

Key Skills / Experience:

• Understanding of cloud hosting environments and threats which could be present
• Understanding of traditional on prem hosting solution and threats which could be present
