Overview

We are seeking a talented L2 Support Engineer to join our dynamic team based in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to end users. As an L2 Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and providing high-quality support to our users.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide second level technical support to end users, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Perform password resets and account management tasks in Active Directory
  • Conduct asset audits and maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software
  • Collaborate with L1 support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and applications
  • Document support procedures and user guides to enhance knowledge sharing and user empowerment

 

Day-to-Day

  • Responding to escalated support tickets and providing timely resolution
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setups and hardware provisioning
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve support processes
  • Conducting regular asset audits and updating inventory records
  • Providing user education and proactive support to enhance end user experience

 

Duration: 12 months +

 

Working Days: 2 days per week (ideally Tuesday and Wednesday)

 

You will be required to travel to their Manchester Office once a month.
