JOB DESCRIPTION:

Content Designer

 

• 3 months +
• Remote-working  (with monthly visit to Newcastle base – 2 days on site back-to-back)
• Inside IR35

 

Our central government customer is currently recruiting for a content designer who develops content strategy and solutions for large-scale problems and high-profile events. At this level you will:

• take responsibility for content quality, manage small teams and mentor content colleagues

write and map user stories

• Develop clear, concise, and engaging content across multiple channels (websites, social media, marketing materials).
• Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends and best practices.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.

• Proven experience as a Content Designer, ideally within a public sector setting through GDS.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a knack for capturing attention and telling compelling stories.
• Experience with user research and testing methodologies.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Passion for creating content that resonates with audiences.
