JOB DESCRIPTION:

Interaction Designer – SC Cleared   

Remote working (with monthly visit to Newcastle base – 2 days on site back-to-back)

3 months +

Inside IR35    

 

Our client, a central government customer requires an interaction designer on a 3-month contract. User experience designers create human-centred experiences by designing the structural and informational foundation for products, services, and systems.

 

They facilitate the delivery of all elements, interactions, and decisions that add value to the total user experience.

 

The core skills include:

 

• provide design leadership and hands-on interaction design for complex projects and portfolios of work, to deliver services that provide an integrated and consistent experience
• gain a deep understanding of a service area's user needs and how to meet them
• take complex information and processes, and making them simple to understand and use
• produce design concepts for digital services, often working to tight deadlines, and working with developers to implement those concepts
• build collaborative relationships and working effectively within an agile environment with colleagues and external providers, for example user researchers and business analysts
• deliver high quality finished designs that meet web standards and GDS/GOV.UK design principles
