Service Operations Manager – London – Temp to perm

 

Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for a Service Operations Manager to lead a team of onsite IT technicians delivering high-quality End User Compute (EUC) and operational IT support across various customer sites in London and surrounding areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of onsite IT technicians delivering EUC support.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development to build and retain a high-performing team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, 1:1 meetings, and establish personal development plans to motivate and enhance team capabilities.
  • Manage team scheduling and resource allocation, ensuring effective coverage and operational consistency.
  • Oversee the delivery of IT services and support in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs.
  • Collaborate and align operational practice and delivery with our Remote service desk team.
  • Monitor incident resolution, escalations, and communication, ensuring adherence to processes and standards
  • Lead technical projects, such as hardware upgrades, software rollouts, and service transitions.
  • Develop project plans and manage timelines, risks, and deliverables.

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel across London and other regions as required.
  • Full UK driving license preferred.
  • Ability to obtain BPSS and SC clearance
