3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer

London, full-time on site | Start ASAP | Inside IR35 | 3+ Months

 

We require a Microsoft 365 Infrastructure Engineer to join our London based client full time on site, to provide 3rd line support as an escalation the Service Desk and IT Ops.

 

The role is divided across; Support, Operations & Projects:

  • 3rd line support for M365 Services: Exchange Online, Teams, Win10, M365/O365 ProPlus, Surface Hubs, Intune and Azure
  • Administering/Maintaining legacy On-Prem Infrastructure: MABS, VMware, McAfee EPO, Windows Server, Active Directory Domain Services.
  • On-boarding laptops and users, proving guidance, documentation, and support while the service transitions to the onsite team.
  • Ensuring that device/user onboarding meets required standards, identifying user experience and process improvements, working with a dedicated EUC team to ensure that the service is of a high standard.
  • Escalating issues/request to Microsoft Support Services & Network Support as appropriate.
  • On occasion package and deploy applications required by user or change initiatives.
  • Ability to create and update documentation and produce internal how-tos to. Facilitate cross-training team members, including hand-over/training of support staff post implementation.
  • Maintenance and deployment of security patches across our on-premises datacentre operating systems and applications (SCCM), including but not limited to Windows Server, VMware ESXi.
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, Surface Hub, Intune, Azure AD, MFA) administration
  • Provision Single Sign On as required.
  • Provisioning and administration of Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms and Telephony as required.
  • Perform Systems Lifecycle Management including planning, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, consolidation, and decommissioning of on-premises hardware and software.
  • Administer Canon Uniflow Cloud Printing Service & Meeting Room Panels.
  • Administer Microsoft Azure Backup Server (MABS) and Azure Backup.
  • Support and troubleshoot scripts written in Microsoft PowerShell.
  • Administer VMWare ESI Environment until service is decommissioned.
  • Administer Nutanix HCI Appliances until service is decommissioned.
  • Administer and Troubleshot Cisco DNA Network
  • Responsible for SSL Certificate Lifecyle’s Management (Microsoft PKI/DigiCert)
  • Administer and upgrade Trellix until service is decommissioned.
  • Limited administration of On-Premises Active Directory/GPO.
  • Work to an agreed support rota to ensure cover from 08:00 – 18:00, with core hours of 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday on site in Victoria London.
