JOB DESCRIPTION:

IT Project Manager – Network Refresh – 6 Months – SW London – Hybrid – Inside IR35

Lucid Support Services are proud to be working with an established retail organisation on a large-scale network refresh across their national infrastructure.

 

The Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager, this role requires a proactive leader who can drive progress, maintain accountability, and keep all parties informed on project milestones and technology changes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder relationships, acting as the key liaison between internal teams, third-party vendors, and senior management.
  • Hold suppliers accountable for deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines, SLAs, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring accurate documentation and governance.
  • Lead the upgrade or implementation of self-checkout hardware, integrating with the new network infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices during the refresh process.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilise Excel for data analysis, reporting, and project tracking.

 

Experience Required

  • Ideally in a retail or multi-site enterprise environment.
  • Track record of managing third-party vendors and holding them accountable for project deliverables.
  • Strong knowledge of POS/EPOS
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and drive successful project outcomes.

 

You have to be prepared to work some night shifts to cover sickness or holiday leave.
