Software Engineer - Government Digital Transformation Programme

Duration: 2-year programme

Rate: £600 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: Hybrid / Various Locations

Client: Government sector

 

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in open-source programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript)
• Recent hands-on experience with cloud-based environments, particularly AWS
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform
• Expertise in setting up and maintaining CI pipelines for automated build and testing
• Strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
• Ability to implement new features and resolve issues using Java or JavaScript
