JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Project Manager/Planner - Peterborough

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our customers flagship program, to help drive forward and deliver an exciting new product to market. This role will take accountability for the end-to-end program plan. The plan is the backbone of the program and is expected to track major program milestones and corresponding deliverables from at least 12 supporting functional teams.

• The program plan is within Microsoft Project and the individual is expected to track progress chase updates.
• Help the Program team and wider group, identify critical path activities and work with Oversight architect to explain any slippages and come up with mitigation plans
• As further scope is identified, work with functional areas to develop deliverable based plans and interdependencies, assessing and reporting the impact of project changes.
• The program is being run as a hybrid agile activity with major deliverables that are continuously moving, changing and growing.
• The individual will need to be prepared to be adaptable and responsive to help teams assess and feedback impact of major changes
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships is key along with high attention to detail
