Project Manager - Digital Transformation
12-month Fixed Term Contract
Hybrid – 2/3 days London office
Up to £70,000 depending on experience
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key business change projects within our award-winning client in the travel industry. This role focuses on delivering critical business transformation initiatives, including the implementation of a new Financial Claims System and CRM migration project.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic organisation.
Key Projects
You will be responsible for delivering strategic initiatives including:
- Implementation of a new Financial Claims System, managing the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering and tender process through to vendor selection and system deployment.
- Migration of existing CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics), including business process analysis, requirements definition, and implementation management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between IT and business objectives through effective project delivery.
- Lead end-to-end project management from inception to completion.
- Analyse current IT systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder collaboration.
- Manage vendor selection processes and ongoing supplier relationships.
- Develop and manage project budgets and resource allocation.
- Create comprehensive project documentation and training materials.
- Implement effective project governance and quality assurance measures.
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and create recommendations reports.
Required Experience & Skills
- Established and demonstrable project management experience.
- Strong background in IT systems analysis and implementation.
- Experience with Microsoft platform projects, particularly CRM and finance systems.
- Proven track record in budget control and financial reporting.
- Experience in insurance claims or similar financial services environment.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Experience in vendor selection and management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Qualifications
- Professional project management qualification required (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Scrum, ITIL).
