Project Manager - Digital Transformation

12-month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid – 2/3 days London office

Up to £70,000 depending on experience

 

About the Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key business change projects within our award-winning client in the travel industry. This role focuses on delivering critical business transformation initiatives, including the implementation of a new Financial Claims System and CRM migration project.

 

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic organisation.

 

Key Projects

You will be responsible for delivering strategic initiatives including:

• Implementation of a new Financial Claims System, managing the full project lifecycle from requirements gathering and tender process through to vendor selection and system deployment.
• Migration of existing CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics), including business process analysis, requirements definition, and implementation management.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between IT and business objectives through effective project delivery.
• Lead end-to-end project management from inception to completion.
• Analyse current IT systems and identify areas for improvement.
• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder collaboration.
• Manage vendor selection processes and ongoing supplier relationships.
• Develop and manage project budgets and resource allocation.
• Create comprehensive project documentation and training materials.
• Implement effective project governance and quality assurance measures.
• Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and create recommendations reports.

 

Required Experience & Skills

• Established and demonstrable project management experience.
• Strong background in IT systems analysis and implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft platform projects, particularly CRM and finance systems.
• Proven track record in budget control and financial reporting.
• Experience in insurance claims or similar financial services environment.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Experience in vendor selection and management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Qualifications

• Professional project management qualification required (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Scrum, ITIL).
