Desktop Engineer – London, Inside IR35
IMMEDIATE START
Here at Lucid we have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Desktop Engineer to join our client, based in central London, on a 3 month contract.
This is an urgent opportunity, with a start date of 22nd January.
- Provide advanced-level support for Windows desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows 7, Windows 10, and any subsequent releases) and associated applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and other end-user devices.
- Participate in IT projects related to desktop infrastructure, such as OS migrations, hardware refreshes, and security initiatives.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of the desktop support function, identifying and implementing process improvements, tools, and automation opportunities.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in desktop support, with a focus on Windows desktop operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote desktop support tools
