Service Designer – London – 6 months
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Service Designer to join our team working on a critical NHS programme focused on improving patient care and reducing service backlogs.
Contract Details
- Duration: 6 Months + Ext
- Location: London (primary site), with occasional Leeds visits
- Working Pattern: Predominantly remote with minimal onsite requirements
Role Level
- SFIA Level: 5
- Professional Grade: Senior Practitioner
Compensation
- Daily Rate: £460 per day
- IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive service journeys to enhance patient experience
- Develop innovative solutions for complex healthcare challenges
- Conduct in-depth user research and apply strategic insights
- Create and refine service blueprints and user journey maps
- Facilitate collaborative design workshops
- Support development of patient-focused documentation
Essential Skills
- Proven Service Design expertise
- NHS sector experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare service transformation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in agile, multidisciplinary environments
