Lead Infrastructure Architect: Remote

Inside IR35 - Long Term - Contract - Potential for Perm

 

 

We have an urgent requirement for an Infrastructure Architect to join us on a contract basis. We’re looking for an experienced Architect who can confidently engage and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. You will be able to quickly understand business context, translating strategic objectives and business requirements into technology solutions. You will lead by example, producing high quality technical designs and providing implementation teams with technical leadership across the project life cycle.

 

 

• Lead the architecture, design and implementation of end-to-end technical solutions for customers, with a focus on both physical and virtual infrastructure, on-prem and within a multi or hybrid cloud environment.
• Technical Lead and ‘go to’ on large and complex professional services projects
• Providing technical design assurance and quality control for technical design documents produced on other professional services projects
• Evaluating business/ operational challenges and current impacts, using a consultative and engaging approach
• In-depth technical knowledge of architects in areas such as: Physical and hosted data centre technologies; Virtualisation; Storage; Hyper-converged & Converged Infrastructure solutions' Server Operating Systems (majoring on Wintel/Microsoft Windows Server)
• Experience with vendor technologies: Dell Technologies, VMWare, Microsoft & Cisco
• A good knowledge of Networking and Security
• A good knowledge of End-user compute & digital workspace
• Previous experience within the Chanel, like an MSP/ VAR/ Reseller is ideal!
