Technical Business Analyst – Infrastructure & Cloud
An urgent requirement has arisen for a Technical Business Analyst to join our customer based in London. This role is critical to multiple large-scale Cloud & Infrastructure projects. You will serve as the bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of both business processes and technical systems, with a focus on driving efficiency, innovation, and alignment between departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (business users, product managers, etc.) to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs and objectives.
- Process Analysis: Analyse and map business processes, identifying areas for improvement or automation, and aligning them with technical solutions.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical specifications, user stories, and use cases that clearly define system requirements and expected functionalities.
- System Design & Testing: Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality aligns with expectations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating communication to ensure mutual understanding and timely delivery of solutions.
- Project Management Support: Assist in project planning and tracking, contributing to timelines, risk management, and progress reporting.
- Data Analysis: Analyse data sets to support decision-making and uncover insights, ensuring business decisions are informed by accurate data.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process improvements and system enhancements that align with business goals.
- Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum).
- Experience with system integration, APIs, and databases.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodology (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
