JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join our customers growing IT team. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT career. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting  internal users and learning from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to employees for hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Set up desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Assist in installing and updating software, applications, and operating systems
  • Help maintain and organize IT equipment inventory and documentation
  • Monitor and log support tickets, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
  • Support the team in maintaining IT security practices (e.g., antivirus, password policies)
  • Learn and follow IT policies, procedures, and best practices

Required Skills & Attributes

 

  • Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common software
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and an organized approach
  • A positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
