JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and results-driven Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a mobile phone restriction solution in educational settings. This includes the rollout of mobile phone pouches and unlocking stations to support focused learning environments, reduce distractions, and enhance digital wellbeing in schools and colleges.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution
    • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
    • Coordinate the pilot and phased rollout of phone pouches and unlocking stations across selected educational institutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Liaise with school leadership teams, teachers, IT staff, and facilities to ensure smooth integration and adoption.
    • Lead communication with vendors and suppliers of pouches, locking/unlocking tech, and related hardware.
  • Logistics & Implementation
    • Manage procurement, inventory, and distribution of equipment to schools.
    • Ensure secure and efficient setup of unlocking stations, charging units, and pouch systems.
  • Training & Support
    • Develop training materials and deliver workshops for staff and students on the new systems.
    • Provide ongoing support and gather feedback to refine processes.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
    • Define success metrics and KPIs (e.g., reduction in phone use during class time, behavioral changes).
    • Monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, and adapt based on feedback and data.
    • Report outcomes to senior leadership and suggest improvements for scaling.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management within education, edtech, or operations.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Familiarity with K-12 or higher education environments is a plus.
  • Experience with digital wellbeing initiatives, behavior management programs, or student tech policies is highly desirable.
  • Technical literacy (basic familiarity with RFID, locking stations, or MDM tools).
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, MS Project).
